I could tell you that I love to take pictures, but you already know that. Instead, I think I will tell you that I have a passion for capturing moments. As a mother, I know how fleeting the moments are with your children. From the first smile to the first step, I know how you feel. I want to capture those moments for you to treasure forever. As a wife, I understand passion in love, the excitement of marriage, and the moments of "real life" that bring it all together. I want to document those for you.

I know without a doubt that being a photographer is the path that was intended for me. I can not begin to explain to you how much joy I gain from seeing the smile on my client's face once they see their photos. I get butterflies in my tummy before opening up images on my computer andworking my magic as they come to life. I have been known to have a passion for a field in the country, peeling bright painted walls, and capturing the moments that you felt may be disasterous. I have a knack for finding beauty in each moment of beautiful chaos. I promise to artistically document your beautiful chaos in your upcoming session.

Never Forget

September 11, 2012

Today I am remembering 9/11 --
I was a Senior in College at SWT in San Marcos. I was supposed to be at my Terrorism Class (CJ Major) but I had overslept, as I had done many times before. The phone in my 1 bedroom apt kept ringing and ringing but I kept sleeping... When I finally got up my Best Friend had left me a VM asking me if I was okay...and had I heard the news....
I immediately called her and she told me to turn on my TV...Ill never forget the fear and sadness I felt at that moment.

My Terrorism Class now was centered specifically on what had happened that day.... all reports/projects and presentations for the remainder of the semester were centered around 9/11....
I drove "home" to where my parents were living in Addison, TX that next weekend... Ill never forget seeing people waving American Flags above overpasses as I drove from San Marcos to Dallas.

In the wake of tragedy, I felt so close to other Americans that I would never actually meet... and prayed for the families that lost their loved ones on what started as a normal morning....

God Bless America.
